Lambada（伦巴达）、Samba（桑巴）和Bossa Nova（巴莎诺瓦）是巴西人奉献给世界的三大音乐。它们都是一种节奏，又都是一种舞蹈。lambada是一种发源于巴西东北部巴依亚省的一种舞蹈。小罗纳尔多便是桑巴和lambada的业余高手。1990年第33届的格莱美奖（Grammy），就有lambada舞曲专辑 Timbales获奖。 <br />

这张貌不惊人的被称为《KAOMA》的唱片的演唱者是个叫做KAOMA的乐队组合,关于KAOMA有两种说法。一种说法是他们是一个乐队组合，成员来自世界各地，他们在80年代聚集在巴黎，在酒吧和舞厅表演，这首lambada舞曲LLORANDO SE FUE就是从巴黎的小酒店唱遍全世界的。另一种说法是KAOMA是个不太出名的女歌手，这首歌是被她作为单曲发行的。 <br />

lambada舞蹈音乐欢快强烈，场面热情奔放。现场的音乐和情感，直接而粗犷，肢体语言丰富。进行lambada舞蹈时，女舞者只穿短截比基尼式迷你裙，男舞者或穿背心或穿花衬衫，一般是热带海滩常见的装扮，使lambada舞显得比较热辣性感。因此巴西曾经一度禁止在公众场合表演lambada舞。进入90年代，lambada舞在国际间极为流行，迅速席卷全球。2003年巴西国家综艺歌舞团到中国巡演，也表演了lambada舞。</font><br />
